• Mission Australia's Café One (Cairns) is a social enterprise program which provides people with a history of rough sleeping and chronic homelessness and social exclusion the opportunity to participate in vocational training and employment. Operating since 2016, Café One is more than just a job; Café One is a step on the journey towards independence, giving participants a sense of pride, achievement, dignity, and inclusion.

Café One aims to assist in breaking the cycle of homelessness by offering a Traineeship in Certificate I in Hospitality.

• The Hambledon House Community Centre provides emergency relief for vulnerable families living in Cairns the south region. The Centre provides wrap around supports, services, activities, programs and supports for children and families. In partnership with local services and community groups, the centre delivers activities that promote social connectedness and are a universal access point for individuals and families to get help and support.
