Homelessness Week this year runs until 8 August and the theme is ‘Unlocking the Door to Home'. Couch surfing is a form of hidden homelessness, and is difficult to count or quantify due to its hidden nature. Many people don’t realise they are homeless when couch surfing because they felt they couldn’t return home. We hope that people will see our winter campaign and feel stirred to care and consider lending a hand to help their fellow Australians who are facing uncertainty every day and are struggling to keep themselves and their families safe and protected.
