For too many Australians, homelessness isn't a choice.
We're choosing to sleep out for one night in support of Australians experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Every night, more than 122,000 Australians do not have a safe space to call home . Behind that number are children, families, young people, older Australians and individuals facing circumstances that many of us can scarcely imagine.
Together for Humanity is a team of volunteers from Sant Nirankari Mission in Melbourne brought together by one simple belief: compassion is most meaningful when it becomes action. By taking part in the Mission Australia Sleepout, we're raising funds to support the practical services that help people through some of the hardest times in their lives.
We know one night outdoors cannot compare to the reality of homelessness. But if one night can help raise awareness and much-needed funds, it is a small step worth taking.
Every donation helps Mission Australia continue providing practical support to Australians experiencing or at risk of homelessness - helping people find safety, stability and hope when they need it most.
If you're able, we'd be grateful for your support. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
Together, we stand with Australians until they can stand for themselves.

Guided by the teachings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj to serve humanity with compassion and selflessness, Sant Nirankari Mission – Melbourne West brought together over 200 volunteers, families, young people, neighbours and community representatives during Homelessness Week for our Compassion in Action initiative. On a cold Melbourne winter evening, we came together to reflect on the realities faced by fellow Australians without the safety and warmth of a home, and to turn that reflection into meaningful action. Young volunteers prepared food and handmade items, while neighbours joined in setting up and serving alongside us. Together, these collective efforts raised $1,230.70, which we are privileged to contribute to Mission Australia through our Together for Humanity team, supporting its work with fellow Australians experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
