To help celebrate this milestone for every new home we build in the next 12 months, we will donate $1,000 to Mission Australia’s Hobart YouthBeat.

About Youthbeat
YouthBeat serves young people aged 8 to 18 in the Hobart suburbs who face a wide array of challenges in their lives, often exacerbated by social isolation, substance abuse, homelessness, mental health issues, criminal or anti-social conduct, and family disruptions.
Providing a safe and inclusive space as they deal with life’s challenges young people can access immediate assistance, access to services, and ongoing case management support from our team of qualified Youth Workers.
Meet Lewis*
Lewis*, 17, was homeless and struggling financially while couch surfing.
With support from YouthBeat, he pursued goals around independence, gaining a White Card and connecting with job services.
He moved into supported accommodation at Trinity Hill, began studying Certificate II in Independent Living at TAS TAFE, and planned to enrol in Certificate III in Automotive.
His wellbeing improved significantly, with his Personal Wellbeing Index score increasing from 53.79 to 72.83.
Lewis is on his way to pursuing his passion for cars and motorcycles as a career.
