Located in Darlinghurst, The Shopfront Youth Legal Centre works with local homeless and disadvantaged young people aged 25 and also reaches out to those in need across the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
The service aims to make a difference to the lives of marginalised young people through legal representation, education and systemic advocacy. Their work can range from providing legal advice or referrals, to several court appearances on behalf of a young person.
It also works with other services to provide support for young people regarding refuges, community mental health centres and government agencies.
The Shopfront Youth Legal Centre runs in partnership with Herbert Smith Freehills and The Salvation Army.
