Our walk to Byron Bay
Join us on a journey of purpose and passion as we walk from Brisbane to Byron Bay in under 4 days, not just to cover distance, but to bridge the gap between awareness and action.
Every step we take is a stand against the rising cost of living crisis, a crisis that has left too many families choosing between shelter and sustenance. It's a crisis that has pushed countless individuals into the harsh reality of homelessness.
As part of our commitment, we will sleep rough during the walk, experiencing firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that those facing homelessness endure daily. This act symbolises our solidarity and determination to drive change.
We walk to spark conversations, to turn silence into advocacy, and to illuminate the shadows cast by indifference. Each kilometre is a testament to our commitment to change, a commitment to building a society where everyone has a place to call home.

I'm getting active to raise funds to end homelessness, but I need your help.
On any given night more than 122,000 Australians - including over 17,500 children under twelve - don't have a safe place to call home. This statistic has risen almost 14% in the past 5 years, and in a wealthy nation like ours I think this is unacceptable.
