Choose Your Own Adventure this Mental Health Week

Create your own fundraising event, rally your friends and colleagues, and help transform loneliness into connection for isolated people in Broken Hill.

What's Connections?

The Connections program links people who are isolated or lonely with community activities in Broken Hill.

During evenings or weekends - times when many community services are closed – the Connections program hosts a range of fun social activities such as trivia, cooking, movie and karaoke nights, and weekly training sessions where participants can learn life skills.

The program is peer led, providing face-to-face peer support that gives our members the opportunity to meet other people experiencing similar journeys and make meaningful friendships that continue outside of the program.

Sessions run up to five times per week and promote social inclusion, social skills, and community participation.

Your support can turn loneliness into belonging, helping people in Broken Hill build friendships, confidence and connection when they need it most.
